Tracer MR terms of use
These terms apply to your use of Tracer MR, made by The Spatial Studios (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. They sit alongside the Meta Quest Store terms you accepted when you got the app.
Using the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Tracer MR on Meta Quest headsets linked to your account, for your own creative projects. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app.
Purchases
Tracer MR is free to download. The premium upgrade is an in-app purchase sold and processed by Meta through the Meta Quest Store. Refunds are handled under Meta’s refund policy.
Images and designs
- Your images. You keep all rights to the images you import. Only import and trace images you own or have permission to use, and you are responsible for how you use the finished work.
- Built-in library. The designs in the built-in library are provided for you to trace in your own drawings, paintings and murals. You may not extract them from the app or resell them as image files.
Stay safe
Mixed reality lets you see your surroundings, but your attention is still split between the image and the real world. Please:
- Clear the space around you and keep an eye on cables, furniture, pets and people nearby.
- Take extra care when working on a ladder or at height, and have someone with you.
- Use paints, solvents and sharp tools as their makers direct, with good ventilation.
- Take regular breaks, and stop if you feel discomfort, eye strain or motion sickness.
- Follow Meta’s health and safety warnings for your headset.
No warranty
We work hard to keep the image steady and accurate, but Tracer MR is provided “as is”. Tracking can vary with lighting, surfaces and movement, so check your lines before committing to permanent work such as a wall or a tattoo stencil.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for damage to property or materials, arising from your use of Tracer MR. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app and its in-app purchases.
Changes
We may update these terms when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.
